Georges Croegaert (Belgian painter) 1848 - 1923
Georges Croegaert, born in Antwerp, settled in Paris in 1876 and there he spent the rest of his career. He exhibited, irregularly at the Salon of the Society of French Artists from 1882 to 1914, genre paintings whose titles - Reflection (1891), Meditation (1893), Reverie (1894) - indicate a taste for intimate topics .
